I have met some amazingly cool people, and a very cool Little Yellow Teapot, on Twitter recently. It's great to share a passion for tea with others all over the world and when we are able to support each other, it just makes my day.
I love hosting parties and sharing a cup of tea with friends. So when I met Kathleen Rogers of Set to a Tea and saw first hand the amazing company she has created, I knew I had to be apart it. I am thrilled to introduce hosts and hostesses to our tea products and accessories, and can do it while hosting a tea party at their home, with their friends. It always makes for a fun hour of learning about tea and etiquette while sipping high quality teas and easy to make scones.
I recently sent a few samples of different tea products that I offer as a Senior Mentor for Set to a Tea, to Little Yellow Teapot and its humans. I was thrilled to hear that they would all be willing to try the samples and write a review about it.
You can check out Little Yellow Teapot's review at Little Yellow Teapot Tea Reviews. If you have not been following Little Yellow Teapots reviews, or are following LYT on Twitter. Be sure to do so, it totally brightens my day when I can catch up on what LYT is doing.
Now that summer is over, and the children are back at school, there will be more Tea with Carrie news and posts coming your way. So please be sure to check back and add me to your RSS.
Have a TEA-rrific Day!!!!

Host a Tea Party and Bring Your Friends Together
Tea time is a tradition often lost in the hectic schedules of most today. Families don’t have time to catch up on the day’s events, and friendships are held together through texting and emails. Taking time to share a few moments with each other, or even a few quiet moments along should be savored and celebrated!
As a busy mom, entrepreneur, wife, and community volunteer it’s hard to spend time with my friends. We share news via email, text and facebook most days. We all try to find time in our busy schedules to meet for lunch or cocktails, but we never find that magical time of the day when we are all free at the same time. My dear friend Daphne began a tradition of hosting an Afternoon Tea at her house every other month; we plan ahead of time to be there and bring our children to enjoy the time as well. I have always enjoyed tea parties with my girlfriends. It’s a great time to gather around the table, catch up with each other, laugh, and enjoy our time together without the need of electronic devices.
We took our love of tea parties to a higher level and hosted a Mother’s Day Tea Party at our local church. It was a special time to celebrate with our daughters, moms, and the congregation on a larger scale. Our daughters have become part of our tea parties and we look forward to them carrying on our traditions together. They are beginning to learn social graces together, and they LOVE tea too!
Igniting the TEA-rrific Spark within me
My love of tea and gathering with friends gave me the inspiration to start my Home Tea Party business. I enjoy social gatherings and love hosting parties. As a consultant for Set to a Tea, I can share my passion for both with others; while allowing my hostesses to enjoy valuable time with their friends over a cup of tea and tasty scones.
Hosting a Set to a Tea Party is different from most traditional home parties. We offer “Afternoon Tea” and “Tea Tastings”. We take care of the details and serve fresh tea and scones. We want our hostesses to relax and enjoy themselves. A Set to a Tea party requires very little effort from the hostess, and they earn fabulous products and gifts in the process. With different themes and ideas for hosting a Tea Party, it is ideal for everyone. I have had the pleasure of bringing tea parties to ministry events, homeschooling and moms groups, and fundraising events.
At Set to a Tea, we want you to have a great time enjoying the simple things in life. An afternoon tea party is a wonderful way to spend time with the people you love. By sharing our passion for tea we build relationships and offer hope, encouragement and joy to all, one tea party at a time!
So take a look at your calendar and find a day and time where you can invite your friends over for tea! Then contact me and I will send out the invites and take care of the details. We can leave our electronic devices at the door while we gather for fresh brewed tea and scones at your party.
